Many charities and cancer hospitals have resources to help families cope with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. I found the following information helpful.
Cancer Council Victoria has a lot of information about various types of cancer on its website. It also has information for families.

Mummy’s Wish is a charity which provides practical support for mums with cancer. It supports Australian mums with children under 12.
